The Southwest: most popular for property investments
The coastline is relatively short, punctuated by rocky coves, beaches and harbours, lapped by turquoise waters. This side of the island is famous for its brilliant sunsets, just one of the many pleasures of owning property here.

Inside Mallorca Southwest
With the sea on one side and the Tramuntana mountains on the other, the interior of the South West presents some wonderful living locations. The residential areas of Bendidat and Costa D‘en Blanes, 9km and 7km west of Palma respectively, enjoy a national park environment to the north and are just minutes drive away from chic Puerto Portals and many picturesque beaches. The South West boasts several excellent golf courses, Bendidat itself being home to the Royal Bendidat Golf Course, whose honorary president is King Juan Carlos.
The property market
When buying a property in the southwest of Mallorca, tranquillity can also be found in the town of Calvia, a charming, traditional town set away from the hustle and bustle of busy resorts, with plenty of amenities and its own lovely beaches.
