Apartments for sale in Palma de Mallorca

There is a wide range of types of apartments available for sale in Palma. These range from luxury and characterful apartment and townhouse properties in Palma Old Town and Santa Catalina, to modern penthouse apartments in Paseo Maritimo and other newer parts of the town like Son Espanyolet, Avenidas or Calle Aragon.

Apartments for sale in Puerto Pollensa

Holiday Apartments in the Port are mostly apartment communities with shared pools or townhouses. There is quite a range in style from older holiday apartments to ultra-contemporary new buildings on the Pinewalk and Bellresguard. The area of Pinewalk is a sought after area and one of the best property investment locations in Mallorca. The prices of apartments on the beachfront are in the upper range but still not as high as the better parts of the south west coast such as Puerto de Andratx. At the same time many people would argue that it offers better value for money in the North of Mallorca.
In Puerto Pollensa you can find seafront apartments with wonderful views on the quiet pedestrian area of Puerto Pollensa more exclusive Pinewalk, strategically located to walk anywhere to restaurants and shops.

Prices for front line property will however be much higher. For example there is a frontline apartment on the market at 1,200,000€ currently for sale near Port Adriano.

THOUGHTS ON “BUYING A MALLORCA APARTMENT IN 2021

Hello. I’m thinking of buying a property like a 3 bedroom apartment or small villa in Palma de Mallorca bed flat) to use as holiday home, and when not used short term holiday lets. I know there are tourist restrictions on locations (zone’s) within Palma Old Town and therefore looking for advice on regions that should be looked at, and application for a rental license etc which I assume may need before to buy a property.

Hi Joe, first you need to know that certain types of properties do not usually qualify for an ETV license, including those that are located in the Old Town of Palma. Unless the community of owners agree , you can’t get the licence. You can find information about the zones etc by following this link to holiday licences in Mallorca..
